Hal Lehrmann Sensei, 6th Dan May 2-4, 2008
We particularly recommend this seminar to experienced Aikidoka who are working on energy awareness and placement in their personal practice. Lehrman Sensei ‘s insights about internal connections are exciting to experience in your own practice.
Hal Lehrman began his study of Aikido with Yoshimitsu Yamada Sensei in 1964. Lehrman Sensei’s Aikido has been influenced by his study of dance at Balanchine’s School of American Ballet, his practice of zazen, and his training in acting and voice. He has been teaching at New York Aikikai since 1971, and he is the principal instructor at Aikido of Park Slope in Brooklyn, which he founded in 1981.
WHY THIS SEMINAR IS UNIQUE AND WORTH ATTENDING
You have that “How did he do that?” reaction when Lehrman Sensei practices with you, and he makes you get excited about trying a different approach. We invited Lehrman Sensei so that he might share with us here in North Carolina his wit, technique, and his joy in his practice. Kaufmann Sensei has loved and respected him since they were youths, so the Aiki spirit is sure to be flowing at our dojo. Please come.
